Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Boss Theme Ukulele Tab

I originally planned to do every piece of Sonic music for the Uke. I’m sure it’ll happen one day, it’s just taking longer than I expected. This is the third piece I’ve attempted so far and I love it. If you ever played the game, you’ll know that this music combined with the Boss action was sure to raise adrenaline levels. Perhaps playing the Uke theme will have the same effect?

Did you know I recently had a mention on Uke Hunt? Check out this link to see my guest blog post. I don’t know how popular it was seen as the only comment was from me! I’ll assume it was read by millions.

Learn Ukulele Free is a Facebook group set up to help you..erm…learn the Ukulele for free. Everybody likes a freebie and I’d certainly recommend that you give it a look. I always try to post my latest tabs in there but you’ll also find plenty of other gems.

Bristol Film Academy have used my music in one of their videos.

This is Yashaya from South Korea. I’m an English teacher in South Korea. My real name is Jesse. I got YASHAYA or Yishai from the bible because in the book of Ruth, you can find the name Jesse, which was the father of King David. Anyway, did you know that I am a huge Sonic fan? Listening to this song always gets me stirred up inside every time I hear it. It throws me back into the past all the time when I was a little boy begging mom to play the Sega Genesis.

Also, the music of Sonic 3 final boss stage is one of my favorite too. It’s where after you take that long, boring ride in Robotnik’s hover craft, you then land on this red platform, the background changes, and the music starts dark, then it stirs you up after fighting this big-armed machine Robotnik has crafted with spikes on the tops. It’s quite hard beating it without getting hit, and the game purposely takes you on that long ride so that your rings will run out if you were previously in super Sonic mode? Anyway, I really hope you can finish the series of either Sonic 1 or Sonic 2 soundtracks. I’ll pay top dollar if you could release a tabs booklet too so I can learn them myself. You said on one of your posts that if you haven’t finished these songs of Sonic, then nag you? Definitely, I will be one of those guys nagging! lol. Sorry for making this very long-winded, Carl. Cheers.

    Jesse

Oh My Goodness! This is absolutely jaw dropping! I’ve known sonic since I was about 3-i believe- but I’ve been a fan since third grade! I can’t believe that you can do that on the ukulele so smooth and easily. I bet it took a long time to get that down huh? Anyway, I’m currently in 8th grade and I have to learn how to play ukulele for music class, and at the end of the quarter we have to play a song, anything we desire, too complete the class. I’ve been searching around on what I would like and then it just… Clicked! I wanted a Sonic Song. I searched it up and I see this and I honestly can’t believe my eyes! I’m gonna try my best and get this song down 🙂 Thanks so much!
